Ivie McNeill Wyatt Purcell & Diggs welcomes Attorney Jerome Stanley to the firm as Chair of IMW's Global Sports practice. Mr. Stanley will be Of Counsel in the firm's Los Angeles office.

Director Rodney Diggs said, “We are excited to have Mr. Stanley join our firm. We want to revolutionize the sports area from what law firms typically do. Some people say ‘sports and entertainment’ because they’ve repped an athlete or done one deal. What we want to do is get involved in this niche area and get involved in content, something that other firms are not necessarily doing. We look forward to engaging and supporting our future client-partners in the sports industry by providing high quality, experienced diverse legal and business professional services."

Mr. Stanley said, "I am excited to be joining Ivie McNeill Wyatt Purcell & Diggs. As one of the oldest African-American-owned law firms in the United States, IMW has consistently performed high-quality legal services during its 80 years of existence. The opportunity to develop and lead a Global Sports Practice at IMW is a natural extension for both myself and the firm. We will be providing a suite of services that will include: Sports Agency transactions and conflict resolutions; NIL transactions law; player union law; Coach and front office executive representation; sports venue representation; sports broadcasting services; grievance representation; employment negotiation, counseling, and dispute resolution; sports business structuring, advising and formation; litigation and active/retired player "non playing contract" representation; as well as select team and league legal services."
