EXPERIENCE

Ms. Hamilton is the Director of  Legal Administration & Business Development at Ivie McNeill Wyatt Purcell & Diggs.

 

With over 35 years of legal management experience in the United States, Europe, and Brazil, She is the architect of the 2013 Los Angeles Legal Management Summit for attorneys of the Central Bank of Brazil. In 2014 she was one of the International Keynote Speakers at the III Encontro Nacional da PGBC e Seminário Internacional em Gestão Legal at the Central Bank of Brazil in Brasília.

 

Ms. Hamilton works in a wide variety of for-profit and non-profit corporate environments. Ms. Hamilton was a member of the International Relations Committee for the Association of Legal Administrators. She is a Past President of the Greater Los Angeles Chapter of ALA. In 2012, Ms. Hamilton earned the GLA ALA Volunteer of The Year Award. In 2014 she earned the IDEA Award for her commitment to expanding legal management in her native country of Brazil. She is a Member of the Board of Directors of Interact Law, an internationally independent network of legal firms headquartered in Amsterdam, Netherlands. She is an expert in Complex Legal Management.

 

Ms. Hamilton is the former Treasurer and an Executive Committee Member of the National Board of Directors of The United States National Committee for UN Women. During her tenure, the U.S. National Committee expanded support and raised funds within the United States for UN Women. Through the help of the Board of Directors, Advisory Council, local chapters, and members, they helped fund UN Women projects that span 100 countries around the globe.

 

Ms. Hamilton is a writer and a storyteller. She played Anabella de Leon's SEVEN - A Documentary Play conceived by Carol Mack at the sixty-second session of the Commission on the Status of Women at the United Nations Headquarters in New York from 12 to 23 March 2018. In March 2020, she attended a hearing on behalf of India's Dalit population, considered the "untouchables," at the International Court of Justice, the principal judicial organ of the United Nations, which has its seat in The Hague, Netherlands. Luci is a COVID-19 Widow and Survivor.
