Associate Kyle Pierce focuses his practice on a variety of civil litigation matters including public entity defense, corporate, personal injury, and entertainment law.
Prior to joining Ivie, McNeill & Wyatt, Kyle honed both his litigation and transactional skillset. Kyle’s practice focused on business and entertainment litigation as well as corporate transactions. Most notably, he consulted a Chinese security conglomerate in their expansion and investment in the U.S. market, represented celebrity clients in their breach of contract claims against multinational television networks, litigated on behalf of a Hall of fame songwriter against Sony ATV, and assisted in intellectual property disputes against Fortune 500 companies.
Kyle received his J.D. from the University of California, Los Angeles School of Law in 2017. While at UCLA School of Law Kyle was a board member for the Black Law Student Association and served as the Staff Editor of the Entertainment Law Review. He also worked on behalf of Honduran campesinos (farmers), arguing governmental human rights violations of citizens to the International Court of Human Rights. He volunteered with UCLA School of Law Outreach as a mentor and also worked as an intern with Creative Artists Agency (CAA) Television Division and Legal Affairs.
Kyle is a Certified Information Privacy Professional in the U.S. private sector and has certified language skills in Mandarin.
Outside of the office, Kyle spends time on fitness and eating his way through Los Angeles.
