IVIE MCNEILL & WYATT WELCOMES THREE ATTORNEYS TO ITS DTLA OFFICE

— Firm adds five attorneys over the last year, underscoring its consistent growth —

LOS ANGELESIvie, McNeill & Wyatt, the largest black-owned law firm in the nation and one of Southern California’s premier full-service law firms, welcomes the additions of attorneys Rosa Noyola, Marina Samson and Armand Jaafari to its Downtown Los Angeles office. Noyola’s practice will focus on civil litigation and medical malpractice defense; Samson’s practice will focus on civil litigation and labor and employment; and Jaafari’s practice will focus on law enforcement defense with an emphasis on representing the County of Los Angeles.

Prior to joining Ivie, McNeill & Wyatt, Noyola served as counsel for a media and communications company. While earning her J.D. from the University of California, Los Angeles School of Law, Noyola was a staff editor for the Chicana/o-Latina/o Law Review and participated in the National Latina/o Law Student Association’s Moot Court Competition. She also founded and served as a legal consultant for the UCLA Anderson Africa Conference, and served as a legal consultant for the UCLA Anderson Consulting Challenge and as a law clerk for the South African Human Rights Commission.

Prior to joining the firm, Samson was an attorney with Castellón & Funderburk LLP. She previously served as a law clerk at the United States Attorney’s Office in its Criminal Division, and was a judicial extern for the Honorable André Birotte, United States District Court. She earned her J.D. from Southwestern Law School, Los Angeles, where she also served as an admissions assistant. She is co-chair of the American Bar Association’s Judicial Intern Opportunity Program and a member of the Board of Directors for the Los Angeles Chapter of the Italian American Lawyers Association. She was also a founding member of the Federal Bar Association’s Southwestern Chapter.

Prior to joining Ivie, McNeill & Wyatt, Jaafari was an associate with Carpenter Zuckerman & Rowley. While earning his J.D. from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles, Jaafari was managing editor of the Loyola of Los Angeles Entertainment Law Review and president of the Iranian Law Students Association.
