The California Minority Counsel Program presented Ivie, McNeill & Wyatt with the Minority-Owned Law Firm Client Services Award for our unwavering commitment to providing our clients with top-tier service. Given to one firm each year, the award is determined by the California Minority Counsel Program Award Committee with input from the nominees’ clients.

JOHN M. LANGSTON BAR ASSOCIATION

Dedicated to advancing legal leadership in Los Angeles’ Black community, the John M. Langston Bar Association has recognized Ivie, McNeill & Wyatt numerous times for our contributions to the legal field. Over the years, our lawyers have been named Young Attorney of the Month, honored with the President’s Award for Community Service, and two of our partners have been inducted into the John M. Langston Hall of Fame. Many members of our firm have been elected to lead committees and serve on the Board of Directors, and four of our attorneys have served as President of the Association.

AMERICAN BOARD OF TRIAL ADVOCATES

The majority of our attorneys are Distinguished Fellows of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA), a highly selective national association of trial lawyers and judges. To be invited to join, lawyers must have brought a minimum number of jury trials to verdict. By being selected as Distinguished ABOTA Fellows, our attorneys have received specialized litigation training from some of the most respected trial lawyers in the country, allowing us to provide even better service to our clients.

RODNEY S. DIGGS AND CHANDLER PARKER NAMED TO 2017 SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA SUPER LAWYERS RISING STARS LIST

For the fourth consecutive year, Partner Rodney S. Diggs and Senior Associate Chandler Parker were named to Super Lawyers 2017 Southern CaliforniaRising Stars list. Diggs was recognized for his work in the areas of employment & labor, civil rights and entertainment & sports. Parker was recognized for his work in the areas of civil rights, plaintiff civil litigation and defense civil litigation.
Super Lawyers is a rating service that lists outstanding lawyers from a wide range of practice areas who have attained a high-degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. The selection process is multi-phased and includes independent research, peer nominations and peer evaluations. The Rising Stars list selects the top 2.5 percent of lawyers in Southern California who are under 40 years of age, or who have been practicing for 10 years or less.

PARTNER RODNEY DIGGS HONORED BY CALIFORNIA LEGISLATURE ASSEMBLY AS EMERGING CIVIC LEADER

The California Legislature Assembly recognized Partner Rodney Diggs as one of its 40 emerging civic leaders under the age of 40. In a Certificate of Recognition, Assembly Sebastian Ridley-Thomas congratulated Diggs, noting that his “dedication and commitment to advocacy, philanthropy, and civic engagement is an inspiration to our diverse communities.

RODNEY DIGGS NAMED TO NATIONAL BAR ASSOCIATION 40 UNDER 40 NATION’S BEST ADVOCATES

Partner Rodney Diggs was named among the National Bar Association’s (NBA) 2017 40 Under 40 Nation’s Best Advocates, which recognizes the nation’s top lawyers under the age of 40 who exemplify high achievement in the legal field, including advocacy, innovation, vision, leadership and community involvement.
The NBA is the nation’s oldest and largest national network of predominantly African-American attorneys and judges. It represents the interests of approximately 65,000 lawyers, judges, law professors and law students.

Partner Rodney Diggs was recognized at the 2017 Los Angeles African American Vanguard Awards as one of the 100 Most Influential African Americans.
