Davida M. Frieman was raised in Orange County, California. She attended the Orange County High School of the Performing Arts. Upon graduation, Ms. Frieman moved to Japan for two years where she studied Japanese culture and language.
Ms. Frieman received her undergraduate degree in Business from Southern California College in Costa Mesa, California. While in college, Ms. Frieman contributed to her community by volunteering at various organizations including Project Cuddle, an organization dedicated to providing assistance to pregnant mothers with unplanned and or unwanted pregnancies, indigent families and underprivileged children. Ms. Frieman also volunteered at Nancy Clark’s and Associates, an organization that provided the Court with alternative sentencing options for low-risk criminal offenders.
While growing up in Orange County Ms. Frieman always admired the diversity of people and cultures in Los Angeles. After graduating college, Ms. Frieman moved to Los Angeles to attend Southwestern Law School. After graduating law school, Ms. Frieman volunteered at the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office, Ms. Frieman enjoyed the opportunity to spend a significant amount of time in court and once again contribute to her community.
In 2005, Ms. Frieman accepted a position with BASTA, a Public Benefit Corporation, dedicated to helping indigents threatened with losing their homes. While at BASTA, Ms. Frieman successfully represented clients in both jury and bench trials. BASTA allowed Ms. Frieman an opportunity to combine her desire to contribute to the community while developing her skills as an advocate for those in need.
Ms. Frieman joined the firm of Ivie, McNeill & Wyatt in May 2006, where she currently practices civil litigation.
