Shara C. Davenport

Shara C. Davenport worked as a law clerk for Ivie, McNeill & Wyatt before becoming an associate in 2010. She specializes in civil litigation and general liability.

In 2006, Ms. Davenport graduated cum laude with a degree in Business from Fordham University in New York. Ms. Davenport relocated to Los Angeles to attend Southwestern Law School, where she earned her Juris Doctor in 2009. She was admitted to the California State Bar that same year.

During law school, Ms. Davenport served as a judicial extern with the U.S. District Court, Central District of California for the Honorable Otis D. Wright, II. At Southwestern, Ms. Davenport earned two CALI awards, several merit scholarships, served as a Dean’s Fellow tutoring other law students, and participated as an advocate in the Thurgood Marshall Mock Trial Competition. Ms. Davenport also served on the Executive Board of both the Moot Court Honors Program and the Black Law Students Association. As a member of Moot Court, Ms. Davenport wrote award winning briefs, including Best Respondent Brief in the National Entertainment Law Moot Court Competition and Best Brief in the Southwestern Intramural Moot Court Competition.
